Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

These terms explain how VidhyaCare works for patients and doctors, and what we each agree to.

1. What VidhyaCare is

VidhyaCare is a technology platform operated by VidhyaCare Health Services Pvt Ltd that helps you find doctors, book appointments, consult over video (Live OPD), book lab tests and keep your health records. By creating an account or using VidhyaCare you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

VidhyaCare is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 112 or an ambulance (108) or go to the nearest hospital.

2. Doctors and medical advice

  • Doctors on VidhyaCare are independent registered medical practitioners. Before they can take appointments we check their medical registration, degree and identity.
  • Medical advice, diagnosis and prescriptions come from the doctor, who is responsible for them. VidhyaCare itself does not provide medical advice.
  • Video consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. A doctor may decide a video consult is not suitable and ask you to visit in person; some medicines cannot be prescribed over video.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to hold an account. You can manage family members, including children, from your account.
  • Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Signing in on a new device ends sessions on other devices.

4. Bookings, payments and refunds

  • The consultation fee is set by each doctor and shown before you book. Lab prices are set by each lab.
  • You can pay from your VidhyaCare Wallet, online through Razorpay, or at the clinic or sample collection where offered.
  • If you cancel an upcoming booking, or the doctor or lab cancels it, anything you paid is refunded to your VidhyaCare Wallet immediately.
  • A slot is held for you once booked, even if an online payment is not completed; you can pay later or at the clinic.

5. VidhyaCare Wallet

  • The wallet is a closed balance for paying for services on VidhyaCare. It earns no interest.
  • Patients can add money (₹10–₹50,000 at a time, up to a ₹1,00,000 balance) and spend it on VidhyaCare; it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.
  • Refunds for cancelled bookings are credited to the wallet.

6. Subscription plans

  • Plans are monthly: Single ₹149 and Family ₹349, inclusive of applicable taxes, and unlock the features listed on the pricing page.
  • If you set up auto-pay, your plan renews each month until you cancel it from Settings › Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current month continues until it ends.

7. Additional terms for doctors

  • You confirm that your registration and documents are genuine and current, and you will tell us if that changes.
  • You set your fee and your available hours, and you keep appointments you have accepted.
  • Fees paid online are held as pending until you mark the consultation complete, then become available in your wallet. If a paid booking is cancelled, the fee is refunded to the patient.
  • You can withdraw your available balance to your verified bank account; failed transfers return to your wallet.
  • You keep the medical records the law requires and write prescriptions only for patients you have consulted.

8. Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse the platform: no false identities, abuse of doctors or patients, scraping, or attempts to break security.
  • Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
  • We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

9. Liability

We work hard to keep VidhyaCare available and accurate, but we provide the platform “as is”. To the extent the law allows, VidhyaCare is not liable for the medical advice or treatment given by doctors or the tests performed by labs, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction. If we change these terms in a meaningful way we will tell you before the change takes effect. Questions or complaints: contact@vidhyacare.com · +91 826-957-8066.
